About us

PetNanny is a Romanian platform, built for a market with a particular problem: in Romania, the honest answer to “who looks after my dog” is usually a neighbour, not a stranger from an app.

What we are trying to solve

We are not building a booking engine. We are building the mechanism that makes trusting a stranger — with your animal and the keys to your home — feel as safe as asking a neighbour. That is why identity verification is compulsory for every sitter, and why reviews run in both directions.

It is also why the part we care about most is not the booking but the daily update: the photo and the note that reach you every day while you are away. The booking is the transaction; the update is the reason the app exists.

Where we are

The app works across Romania, but we open city by city, following the demand gathered on the waiting list — so that nobody walks into a city with no sitters. We announce the first cities to the people on the list.
